Today

I have much to blog about....a lot to catch up on.
Way sorry.

BUT

Let's talk about today for a minute. Today was an incredible day, really.
I woke up (slept until I was done sleeping).
I ate breakfast while watching Grey's Anatomy (a very good episode, I might add).
I showered.
I ate a lovely lunch that Shaye prepared for us.
I went to work--the matinee of To Kill A Mockingbird. Sadie was my supervisor, which was awesome because I like Sadie.
My fellow House Managers were Tanner and Angie and they are just so fun to work with. We all have such a good time.
THEN
Shaye and I were planning on going to see Les Miserables tonight, so we got our tickets weeks ago. But then Sadie came and we wanted her to come with us. And so you know what we managed? A serious ticket upgrade. We went from sitting in the back balcony to FIFTH ROW, DEAD CENTER seats. Row E. Oh. My. Gosh.
Then Tanner finds lemon bars that were left over from some party--so we ate them.
Then Andrew showed up with four bags full of treats--blueberry, white chocolate scones, tarts, croissants, muffins, danishes, I mean....a ton. That he is just giving away.
Then Austin brought his new puppy over for a visit and she is BEAUTIFUL. Oh my gosh, I definitely needed some puppy time. She was the cutest thing and she just loved to play.
Then a nice man randomly came and gave us a box of homemade chocolates because, "we are the unsung heroes of the Shakespeare Festival." For. The. Win.
Then, after all of the guests had left, I realized that I hadn't been yelled at by one person! Everyone was so friendly today! Huzzah!
Then work was all over and Sadie and I were walking home and it started to rain....and then IT RAINED.
I got home, took my shoes off, and went and just stood in this rain. Lightning, Thunder, Crazy Rain. I was soaking wet within a minute. The kind of rain that you only see in movies. Holy cow, it was awesome.
Then I made dinner for me and Sadie--really yummy tacos. We had to counteract all of that sugar we had just consumed.
Then I took a second shower, because I was really nasty from standing out in the pouring rain for 45 minutes.
Then Sadie and I went and took Shaye her Les Miserables ticket, because she was going to be late.
Then Sadie and I went and sat in our INCREDIBLE seats!!!!
And then
and then, and then, and then.....
The show started.
It was heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Oh my gosh. I wept through the entire thing. This show is one of those shows that makes you reevaluate your life. What's important, what matters, what are you doing with your life.....It really makes you think.
It was the kind of beautiful that makes your heart hurt. And your chest feel like it is going to burst because it is so full of feelings.
Blows my mind.
What a fantastic day. Wow.
I would ask for another day just like today, but I don't think I have the emotional capacity for that again. WHEW.
I'm exhausted.
